Waterman Village Café
The café serves made-to-order breakfast, from bacon and eggs to buttermilk pancakes, breakfast burritos and bowls. For lunch, choose from traditional favorites like homemade soups, deli sandwiches and crisp salads or creative specials like chicken and ginger coulis baguette, Cubano power wrap, ricotta, leek & olive pizzetta, spicy smoked salmon Buddha bowl and Yankee pot roast, to name a few.
The Lodge Dining Room
This venue’s extensive menu includes a fresh fruit and salad bar and our ‘world renowned’ 14-foot dessert area, with homemade desserts prepared by our wonderful in-house baker. In the mood to indulge? Delectable entrée specials include grilled beef tenderloin, jumbo lump crab cake, pan roasted basil salmon and southern fried chicken. Always a favorite, our Sunday brunch tempts you with a wide range of popular choices, complete with an omelet station and waffle bar.
Bistro 445
Considered one of the top restaurants in Mount Dora when it was open to the public, this intimate, five-star restaurant boasts an elegant ambience and upmarket selections. Enjoy twin lobster tails, filet of premium beef, bang bang shrimp, ahi tacos, crab cake & portobello sliders, confit of duck quesadilla and many other enticing choices.

Explore new flavors
Each month, Thrill at The Grill provides an upscale dining experience with tantalizing specialties like Australian lobster tail, Kobi beef, ribeye and mahi, all served hot off the grill. Our chef table-innovation events feature cultural and adventuresome themes where you can sample a variety of new foods from around the world and around the pantry.
Fold in family, friends and fun
A rollicking Oktoberfest blends live music and dancing with bratwurst and beer, pretzels and cheese, lederhosen and laughs. Barbecue, burgers, potato salad and all the traditional 4th of July favorites highlight Independence Day along with family-friendly games and fun.
Christmas is celebrated with Santa, gingerbread houses, cookie swaps, holiday beverages, costumed carolers and sing-alongs. Our December light up event in particular is very popular. The entire community is decorated with lights, but kept dark until the event. Then we turn up the lights, launching the holiday season with live music, Christmas cookies and the best hot cocoa ever (our own secret recipe). A week later, we invite our surrounding community to the Waterman Village Night of Lights—a drive-through with cookies and candy.

In the mood to dress up? Ring in the new year at our New Year’s Eve party with fine dining, champagne, live music and dancing. Feast on prime delicacies with your sweetheart at our Valentine’s dinner. Join us for an evening of elegance event where our chefs dazzle and a pianist adds a touch of class. Discover interesting fusions of flavor at our wine and food pairing event.
Savor delights year round
We plan festivities for all the standard holidays, plus have our own special celebrations in between. One example is our breakfast with veterans. This popular event brings together veterans and their spouses to share experiences, a unique comradeship and a delicious buffet.
Our innovation calendar also includes fun specialty days. Root beer float day, orange creamsicle day, cupcake day … throughout the year, we select a sweet treat to highlight just for kicks.
