More Delicious Details on the Restaurant & Bar Spaces at Lakeside at Waterman Village

When we last shared details about the restaurant and dining options that will be available at Lakeside at Waterman Village, it was a high-level overview. Now that construction is progressing at an impressive rate, our development and design teams have worked behind the scenes to firm up some more details that will make every dining experience at Lakeside a delectable one.
For example, the main dining room at Lakeside Grand (shown in the above artistic rendering) will serve up an ambience that’s just as attractive as the cuisine. Richly colored blue and tan design elements will complement dark wood accents throughout. As soon as you are greeted by the host and step inside, you’ll be transported to a setting that feels more like a high-style resort restaurant. It’s just one more of the myriad ways we’re changing the game for modern independent living in Florida.
Plus, you can be confident that what you see is what you’ll get. Andrew Dujon, CEO of Waterman Village, has personally requested that the main restaurant at Lakeside Grand “look exactly like the rendering.” So, once we fully open in the spring of 2022, Lakeside’s main restaurant will already feel familiar (especially if you’ve been paying attention to articles like this on our blog)!
Consider the bar raised
Pictured above from the perspective of the welcoming reception area, you can see a sneak peek of the bar and pub in the center. Seamlessly connected to the main restaurant at Lakeside, the brand-new bar and pub space will provide a perfect place to socialize, spectate and savor.
Seen in the image at the very top of this post, a contemporary, ceiling-suspended chain link art piece showing the Mount Dora scenery will separate the bar from the restaurant. However, the elegant, warm vibes will remain constant.
Invite visitors and new friends to share colorful cocktails and equally colorful stories while seated at the swiveling barstools or in the cozy banquet seating area. Enjoy the airy ambience while paging through a new bestseller, lit by an abstract lighting fixture that sparks imagination and new interpretations of every angle. Or stop by for a late-evening slice from the special pizzeria oven and a nightcap of live sports and highlights airing on one of the three large TVs. With this space, we’ve raised the bar quite high.

Perhaps most intriguing is that the main restaurant and bar will be just two of the ways that you can delight your senses and satisfy every craving at this brand-new neighborhood surrounding glistening Lake Margaret. Within Lakeside Grand you’ll also find a casual bistro featuring a coffee bar; grab-and-go café selections; a 24-hour micro market for sundries; delicious fresh-baked pastries and more.
Furthermore, if you’re a home chef, don’t fret! Your brand-new residence will include a fully appointed kitchen with all the mainstay appliances that you’ll need to craft anything in your recipe book.
