The Edgewater Health and Rehabilitation Center is a Florida licensed skilled nursing home that serves those living in the Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg, Sorrento, Lake County and Central Florida areas.  Compassionate care by Central Florida’s not-for-profit senior living provider of choice since 1989.  Many of our staff have been with the Edgewater for many years. The Edgewater has the longest running Medicare Five Star rating of all the nursing/health care centers in Lake County Florida.

 

It’s our mission and ministry to help our residents live their best lives possible. The Edgewater is an established, locally operated facility, with on-site leadership and management. The Edgewater has never been bought or sold.

Our Director of Activities and the entire Edgewater team, does an excellent job keeping the residents at The Edgewater as active and involved as possible.

Bus trips to local shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are common.

It has been the mission and goal of Waterman Village to help our residents ‘live their best lives’ since 1989.  We were started as a ‘not-for-profit’ ministry and continue with that mission and purpose to this day.
